Appearance: Colourless liquid

Odour: Pleasant fruity odor, reminiscent of Peppermint

Refractive index at 20⁰ C: 1.4468 - 1.4472

Optical rotation at 20⁰ C: -79.25⁰ to -79.42⁰

Solubility: Slightly soluble in water; miscible with alcohol and ether

Main constituents: Menthyl Acetate  > 98 %

                           Menthol < 1.0 %

Use: In perfumery; emphasizes floral notes; especially that of rose, in synthetic peppermint oil, etc.

Storage & stability: Keep in tightly closed container in a cool and dry place. When stored for more than 6 months, quality should be checked before use.

Inspection: SGS or any other agency as per your requirement.
