Appearance: Colourless liquid

Odor: Possessing an odour slightly reminiscent of Anise.

Taste: Slightly sweety flavour .

Boiling point ( b.): 213⁰ - 215⁰ C

Density (d¹⁵₁₅ ­): 0.9714 - 0.972      

Refractive index at 16⁰ C: 1.52355 - 1.52380

Solubility: In alcohol , chloroform , forms azeotropic mixtures with water.

Main Constituent: 98 - 99% Methyl Chavicol

Use: Used for the compounding of certain synthetic Essential oils ,estragon, for

       instance .

Storage & Stability: Keep in tightly closed container in a cool and dry  place,

                               rotected from light. When stored for more than 12 months,

                              quality should be checked before use.

Inspection: SGS or any other agency as per your requirement.
